The folded gussets on both sides expand outward as the product enters the bag. When empty, they fold flat again, combining increased filling capacity with efficient storage, shipping and handling.

Unlike a flat pouch, a side gusset bag includes folded material between the front and back panels. These folds create additional internal volume without increasing the empty bag footprint.
